Why this exists
Products don’t get worse by weather.
What we cover
enshit.club covers the degradation of products and services in pursuit of extraction: dark patterns, compulsory subscriptions, feature stuffing, software locks, degraded support, surveillance and platforms that change the bargain after users are trapped.
How we work
Every factual article links to named reporting, public records or company documentation. Commentary is labelled by voice and context. We do not use affiliate links, accept sponsored coverage or publish invented customer stories.
Our editorial standards explain our evidence labels, review cycle and corrections process in full.
What a case file proves
A case file establishes the facts that its named sources support. It identifies whether the matter is current, a settlement, historical or an open investigation, and it separates that status from our analysis. It does not claim that every customer had the same experience, or that an allegation is a finding.
The service ledger
The service ledger is an evidence index, not a product scorecard. Every entry links to a case file, gives its review date and suggests a practical next step. We update or remove a record when the evidence changes.
What we do not sell
We do not sell ranked alternatives, paid placements, “best of” lists or a false promise that one purchase makes a person immune to bad incentives. The useful response is usually more modest: keep receipts, read the terms, preserve your data and retain a viable way to leave.
Corrections
Accuracy matters more than maintaining a pose. Send corrections, documents or a receipt to [email protected]. We assess supported reports, correct substantive errors promptly and note material corrections on the affected page. Read the full corrections policy.
